Dog Diabetes

Here is an article in the USA Today explaining how the obesity epidemic has even hit our dogs. They are even getting diabetes. How sad is that? Part of the reason is that, well, we are a fat country and we continue to fatten ourselves, our kids and now our dogs. The other reason is that the food companies have found a way to make calories cheaper and cheaper. They do it with corn. Cows aren’t supposed to eat it but we make them. Our dogs aren’t supposed to eat it but we make them. It is a real problem and one we need to do something about or we can kiss Fluffy goodbye.
