The Diabetes Mellitus is a clear example of diseases that can occur in both humans and animals. It is a fairly common condition in dogs and occurs when there is a total or partial deficiency of insulin. In dogs the disease is serious and can lead to death if not treated properly.

Regarding the treatment should be mentioned is basically the same as diabetes in humans. Administered insulin to the animal’s body cannot produce for the body to work properly. Anyway the method to treat the dogs will vary depending on the complexity of each case.
