This is about a dog that United Animal Friends (the rescue my wife volunteers for) adopted out not too long ago.
The new owner of the dog is an older lady, and was feeling very sleepy one day and tried to lay down to rest/take a nap but dog would not let her go to sleep. He was barking at her and otherwise making a ruckus that was reasonably quite annoying.
She got up to see if letting the dog out would work, but it did not as the dog didn’t have to go. For whatever reason decided to check her bloodsugar level as she is a diabetic. Well it turns out that that her level was dangerously low to the point of being on the verge of going into a coma. The dog somehow knew there was a problem and prevented it from getting serious.
Fortunately I don’t know anything about diabetes so I know nothing about diabetic comas but the woman is convinced the dog saved her life. The picture is our dog Pee Wee. Adopt, don’t shop.
